中国现在颁发的都是10年有效期的驾驶证。
拿着你的中国驶证（正副本都要），去公证处
提供驾驶证的正副本和本人身份证复印件各一份，申请公证（中英文公证）
一般3，4个工作日就可以办好
大概百多人民币，一本就够了，里面有驾驶证正副本中文和英文各一份。
拿到后，去你所在的省份制定的外事办去办理领事认证服务
找到办理外事服务的楼层，在窗口，把公证书交给办事员，告知他们要做马来西亚双认证
记住，是双认证，就是要先在中国外交部认证过后才送去马来西亚大使馆认证
可以办理加急
一般要加多100块，加急就是可以缩短四个工作日
全部费用下来不超过500元
办理好后，会给你一份回执单
会通知你在办理好之后来取认证好的公证书。
如果在小城市的话应该可以问公证处是否可以代理做外事认证，
回到大马后，去PUTRAJAYA的马来西亚外交部，
拿那本认证过的公证书再去认证 一下
好像不用花钱，就是再盖个章。
然后备好：
公证书
驾驶证
护照
结婚证原件和复印件
照片（驾驶证要求尺寸的蓝色 底）
可能还需要配偶的IC和复印件，总之都带着就对了
到陆路交通局办理转换
还要填表，排到号之后在那柜台等那办事员在电脑上打打一 下，然后交钱150马币
直接打出来一个塑封好的马来西亚驾驶证
ok， 搞定，五年有效
之后每年去交通局交钱更新一下就行
不用再考试也不用再回中国办理手续

Then get to the Foreign Affairs Office that your province specified to apply for the consular certification services.
Tell the officer you need a dual certification(China and Malaysia)
Keep in mind that what you need is a dual certification,that means after the certification of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it needed sent to the Embassy of Malaysia to get certified.
You can apply for fast service if needed.
Then what you need now is just wait the officer to inform you come again to fetch the proved certificate. (it make take several days to several weeks)
Till now, you have done the part in China.
After back to Malaysia, bring the certification above to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, located at Putrajaya of Malaysia, you need to get the above certification to be certified again there.
Then bring those prepared documents and those listed below to Land Transport Authority
